My Team

I became a fan of the Atlanta Braves back in the early 80's. I was at a very low point in my life with nothing to look forward to until I found the Braves on WTBS. Back then, every single game was broadcast and I found a connection with the team. I first fell in love with the team of announcers. There was Skip Caray, Pete Van Wieren, John Sterling and Ernie Johnson. I could count on these guys to make me feel like a part of the Braves family. Then I noticed the team itself. They weren't the best team in baseball but I didn't care. Win or lose, this was my team. It's a love affair that continues to this day.
